Soccer Practice with Daddy
Parker started soccer practice with Todd on Saturday mornings for 9 weeks. He is in the 18 - 24 month class. They learn some basic soccer skills but it more about learning direction from the coach because they are so young. Parker is the youngest in the class but he loves to run around and kick the soccer ball. it is also a great activity for Parker and Todd to do together. Parker loves it!

20 Weeks
Half way there!
At 20 weeks I am feeling great! My appetite has increased alot and i am obsessed with ice cream. I have it very night before bed and my favorite is chocolate chip from Baskin Robbins. I actually buy the prepacked quarts in bulk. I am definietely eating more and craving sweets more with this pregnancy. I am feeling a lot of kicks from the baby everyday.

Parker's 18 month check-up
Weight - 24lbs (50%)
Height - 32inches (45%)
Head Circ. - 50 cm (97%)
At 18 months Parker:
- Talks alot. Some new words - outside, stickers, pictures, yucky, crackers, puzzle, cookies, circle
- Can say two to three words together - "let's go" & " I did it"
- Throws things away in the garbage and gets water from the refrigerator filter
- Copies what we do
- Still loves Mickey Mouse
- Just started soccer pratice with daddy
- Great at puzzles. He can do three puzzles at time in less then 5 minutes.
Some cute things he does is:
- when he falls down he says "o- tay" to let us know that he is ok
- when I go upstairs he stands at the bottom and yells "Cheryl" over & over
- when I bring him upstairs to bed he gets really quiet and starts waving goodbye
- when we ask him where his baby sister is, he looks down his shirt and points to his stomach
- When we go out on the porch he runs inside to get his shoes so he can go outside to play

Doctor's Visit
I had my 19 week check-up with Dr. Wheeler. It was a quick appt - bp was 102/60, weight was 105.8. My iron was very low - 9.7 which started out at 13.5 so i need to start taking iron supplements. The Baby's heartbeat was 150 and my belly measured at 18.
18 Week Ultrasound
On Feb 15th I had my 18 week level two ultrasound at Duke. We were a little nervous as usual but also because of my hcg levels being high. Everything looked great on the ultrasound! The baby was exactly the size she should be and all her organs looked good. The placenta was low so i will get another ultrasound at 28 weeks to make sure it moves up. The doctor said he is almost certain that it will and we should not have anything to worry about. Worse case would be that i would have to have a c-section which i am going to have anyway so it's really not an issue. It will be nice to get another ultrasound at 28 weeks anyway just to make sure everything looks good. Here are some pictures from this ultrasound.
Here's the girl shot
