Oriental, NC
On Saturday, Todd and I went to Oriental, NC for a work event. Oriental is an old inner coastal village known for fishing & sailing - it's very close to New Bern. We go there about 4 times a year to visit one of his top producers and we stay at these cottages to make a weekend out of it.

More Ultrasound pictures!
After my doctor's appt. on Friday we had our 2nd ultrasound at Triangle Imaging. It was great to see the baby again. He was really active - he kept opening his eyes and he was opening his mouth a lot! The doctor kept saying how big he is and how much he grew in the last two weeks. He is still breach and it's getting more cramped in there so the chances of him moving to the head down position is getting smaller. We'll see what happens in the next 4 weeks! Here are some more pictures!
Doctor's Visit
Yesterday I had another doctor's appt. I met with N.P. Blanchard - she was really nice. The last few appts have been pretty uneventful. My blood pressure was 116/68, weight was 128, and my belly measured 32 cm - all in normal range. There was a little sugar in my urine. She said that she is not worried yet but if I continue to get that then I will have to get more testing done. The baby's heartbeat was 140 bpm. He has been getting the hiccups a lot (about once a day, sometimes twice!) so I asked the doctor about that. She said it is normal and it just means he is growing. I wasn't too worried just thought I would bring it up. He is still breach but has time to move. They aren't too concerned about the baby's position until around 36 weeks. That's about it - everything went well.

Christine's Birthday
On Friday we celebrated Christine's 21st Birthday. We started out at the Red Room for some Tapas, then went over to Bogarts for martinis, and ended the night at Solas. We all had a fun night and everyone was on the dance floor by the end of the night!
The Birthday Girl
Christine and I at Solas - Christine's enjoying a sangria and I'm enjoying a mocktail - which the bartender made for me so I wouldn't feel left out! :)
Tapas at Solas
We got to sit in the rooftop cabanas at Solas!

4th of July Weekend
Todd and I went up to Boston for the 4th of July weekend. We had a fun filled visit and we got to see all his friends and family. We had our nephew Ben's 1st birthday party, my baby shower, a red sox game, and two bbq's. We had a very busy but very fun weekend!
On Friday we had Ben's birthday party. Happy 1st Birthday Ben!
On Saturday we had my baby shower at Barbara's house. We all had a great time and it was nice to see all the girls and to celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby Nelson.
Here are some pictures of the shower:
Invitations
Before the shower Amy and I got mani's and pedi's on Newberry Street in Boston!
It was such a beautiful day!
After the shower, Todd and I went to a red sox game with a bunch of Todd's friends. His friend Nez works at Fenway and he was able to get us a suite! It was awesome - I can't wait to tell the baby all about his very first visit to Fenway Park to see the Redsox!
The suite was amazing. It was filled with food & drinks and we had our own bathroom!
For the 4th we went to Matt's house for BBQ. Here is Matt the Grill Master!
Cornhole Tourney!
