18 Week Ultrasound

On Feb 15th I had my 18 week level two ultrasound at Duke.  We were a little nervous as usual but also because of my hcg levels being high.  Everything looked great on the ultrasound!  The baby was exactly the size she should be and all her organs looked good.  The placenta was low so i will get another ultrasound at 28 weeks to make sure it moves up.  The doctor said he is almost certain that it will and we should not have anything to worry about.  Worse case would be that i would have to have a c-section which i am going to have anyway so it's really not an issue.  It will be nice to get another ultrasound at 28 weeks anyway just to make sure everything looks good.  Here are some pictures from this ultrasound.

Last week we went to Marco island, FL with Dana & Pete for a relaxing long weekend.

While we were away Parker & Leila stayed with grandma and grandpa.  Within the first few hours of us leaving Parker had a trip to the ER in an ambulance.  Needless to say, the first day was very scary and stressful for grandma, grandpa, mom & dad.  Parker had a seizure due to a sudden increase in temp.  He had a temp of 104 at the hospital.  They took a low dose scan of his head and everything looked fine.  The test showed he had a sinus infection that caused the high temp.  Aside from the trip to ER they all had a fun weekend together.  Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Swimming Lessons

Parker and Leila had swimming lessons together everyday Thursday morning for 6 weeks!  They loved it!

16 Weeks

At 16 weeks I am feeling back to normal.  I have a lot more energy now and my teeth are not hurting as much.  My belly is starting to get bigger and showing more.  It's still comfortable to sleep.  I am sleeping through the night - just getting up twice to go to the bathroom.  I am feeling the baby move now! Mostly at night laying down when i just get into bed.

Parker's 1st Haircut

Parker had his 1st hair cut at 17 months old at JJ Kids cuts.  He did a lot better then we thought he would do.  They put on Winnie the Pooh while he sat there so that helped.  He only cried a little in the begin and the chair was a car and it had a seltbet so that helped keep him in the chair.
