On Jan. 23 I had another quick dr. appt. I met with Dr. Mckenzie. My bp was 90/60 and weight was 101. The baby's heartbeat sounded great - 150 bpm. Another quick and easy appointment!
Overall my 1st trimester wasn't too bad. I didn't have any morning sickness, just a little naueous from time to time after 7 weeks. I did feel alot more tired with this pregnany which could be because i have a 16 month old but now knowing that my hcg level is higher then normal, that's probably why. Another thing that has been bothering me more with this pregnancy is my teeth. My teeth are VERY senitive and have been from the very beginning. Again i think this has to do with higher hcg levels. I am also having these issues into my 2nd trimester which didn't happen with my 1st pregnancy. Aside from those two things I'm feeling good and I am looking forward to the rest of my pregnancy.

It's a girl!
Because we got additonal testing done, we were able to find out the sex of the baby early! The tests showed that we are having a girl! We are so excited and can't wait for Parker to meet his baby sister!
12 weeks
On Dec. 28th I had my second dr. appt. I met with Dr. Bass for a quick visit to listen to the heartbeat. The heartbeat sounded great - 155 bpm. My bp was 120/70 and weight was 100.9. I had just gotten over a cold so i think i lost a few pounds because of that. Overall it was a quick, easy visit.
At 12 weeks I also had my first trimester screening test. We met with Dr. Wells and had bloodwork taken and an ultrasound. The ultrasound looked great. NT measured at 1.5cm.
My bloodwork came back off - my hcg levels were high (1.42 MOM) and my papp-a levels were a little low (.88 MOM). That brought me down to a 1 in 91 risk. We decided to get further testing done and everything came back normal.

I had my appt. on Nov. 30. (7 weeks along). My blood pressure was 100/70 and weight was 102.7. We met with Dr. Harden and had an ultrasound. Everything looked great!
